Dowsett will ride the Good Friday Ten Minutes Pursuit on April 6.
The Ten Minutes Pursuit rarely disappoints and as the riders do their work
the crowd do their bit by cheering and banging the boards making for an exciting
spectacle.
The 2007 entry is a real mix of experience and youthful talent. Olympic hopeful
Alex Dowsett will pit his youth against veteran and ex-Tour de France rider
Sean Yates.
They will be joined by Plowman Craven road riders Gordon McCauley and Jason
Allen. Each will have a mountain to climb to defeat World Champions and Olympic
medal winners Bradley Wiggins and Rob Hayles.
The traditional Good Friday Meeting will be held at South Londons Herne
Hill Velodrome on April 6.
First promoted in 1903, this Southern Counties Cycling Union event is set to
continue in the manner which has become its hallmark - exciting, entertaining
racing featuring top class riders from home and abroad.
