Hove Park Junior Events 2008

Sussex based youth development and British Cycling Go-Ride accredited clubs are promoting 4 closed road circuit events at Hove Park, near Brighton, for Youths and Juniors only.

In-Gear based in Crawley, Preston Park based in Brighton and VC Jubilee based in Shoreham are all clubs dedicated youth development cycling activities, and run various other activities and coaching sessions under British Cycling (national governing body).

The dates
Friday 9th May : In Gear development squad from 7pm
Friday 13th June: Preston Park Youth Cycling Club from 7pm
Friday 11th July: VC Jubilee youth development club from 6.30pm Go-Race/7pm other
(combined with Brighton International Festival of Sport Go-Race event, and BC Go-Ride Interclub competition)
Friday 12th Sept: Preston Park Youth Cycling Club from 7pm (combined with their 2 day)

Run under British Cycling rules, events cater for all age categories, under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and Juniors all categories. If you are a British Cycling racing license holder, ranking points will be awarded.

Hove Park is a closed 1km circuit, with hill.
Costs: u8/u10 = £3, u12/u14/u16 = £4, Junior = £6
VC Jubilee Go-Race only events £3, others as above
Distance: u8/u10 = 2/3 laps, u12 = 5 laps, u14/16 = 10 laps, Juniors = 40 mins – timings approx
