courses in the country. Expect some fast, dry singletrack and descents. North
west of Reading off the A4074. Easy to get to from the M40 & M4. Top class
commentator Dan Jarvis will be on hand to entertain the crowds.

A classic singletrack course in the beautiful New Forest. Crow Hill offers some
fantastically fun and challenging singletrack in deciduous and coniferous woodland.

spectating opportunities. The round will use the same course as this year’s
National Championships. Dan Jarvis will once again be on hand for the commentary.
Round 4- 1st June- Erlestoke, Near Devizes, Wiltshire
Back for 2008! A legendary venue from the SAMS series of old. Situated on the
edge of Salisbury Plain; Erlestoke has hosted SAMS rounds in the 90s and the
classic Salisbury Plain Challenge. The course will include parts of the old
favourites plus new challenging climbs and technical woodland singletrack descents.
Round 5- 6th July- Chawton Park Woods, Near Alton, Hampshire
This is the second consecutive year for the Southern Area Champs at Chawton
Pk Woods. We’ve been working hard on creating a more weather-proof course.
If it’s not a monsoon like 2007 this will be one of the best courses in
the south. This round is BC category D, meaning it shouldn’t be missed
by anyone looking for national ranking points.
Round 6-21st September- Oxney Moss, Bordon, Hampshire
Regarded by some as the most enjoyable course in the UK, the Bordon course is
made up of fast flowing singletrack on well draining ground. There are some
fast climbs, fast drops and even berms around Army trenches! A race that can’t
be missed.
