Mosquito Open House is on Thursday April 10 and which will run from 3pm - 8.30pm.
The idea is to bring together in the shop as many of our suppliers as we can,
to give you the opportunity to meet the people behind some of the fine bicycles
in the London's Mosquito range.
Phil Burnett of Mosquito tells us; "The inspiration was born one evening
in Italy as myself, Gill and Roger enjoyed a memorable evening with Dario Pegoretti.
Dario has been keen to visit London for some time and the idea of combining
the trip with a 'Mosquito party' (as he is hoping it will be!) appealed to both
us and him.
We then thought it would be nice to get as many other suppliers along as possible,
so here is the confirmed list:
Dario Pegoretti (with Pietro if he can be persuaded). Dario needs no introduction,
he is unquestionably one of the worlds finest framebuilders and a true gentleman.
We are thrilled to have him visit us at Mosquito and look forward to repaying
the hospitality he has always shown us on our visits to him in his Italian workshop."
Also set to be there are; Joe Ingram from Independent Fabrication (Joe came
over last summer and we had a great evening with him and a group of customers
in a local pub)
Recep from Fixie Inc - Recep is co-owner of Fixie Inc and has been keen to
visit London where he knows the Fixie Inc range has had a great reception.
Chris Hewings from the American Bicycle Group - Chris looks after Litespeed
and Merlin in the UK and knows everything there is to know about the range and
the art of titanium framebuilding.
Caroline Goward from Scott - Caroline is responsible for Scott in the south
of England and as a rider herself is a great person to speak to about the Scott
road and mountian bike range.
In addition to meeting supliers you will have the chance to avail yourself
of some Mosquito hospitality and peruse our full 2008 range including new additions
Gunnar, Crumpton and Ibis and summer clothing from both Solo and Swrve.
