The 11th night of the 2009 series held at Crystal Palace on June 30.

The race saw many good moves: the first was launched by Billy Joe Whennan, Darren Barclay and Sam Humpheson. Next to try were Matt Seaton, Simon Lewis and Ian Paine, and like the first it was bought back by the race.

Ian Paine made a great solo effort before Humpheson made a very late attempt with the ball ringing, but he too was caught, leaving James Milliard to jump out of the pack to win by a few seconds on the hill approaching the final turn.

The race stayed stubbornly together despite a few good moved were soon nuetralised. On the final lap Oliver Rossi and Alec Briggs moved away from the field to contest the win, and Ben Spurrier led in the now fractured pack.

Women
Charlotte Blackman (CycleFit) lapped the field in a great show of strength.

The following three riders had been together for many laps before they crossed the line in single file and a minute apart. Mellissa Wadham (Dulwich Paragon) had built a gap over Rachel Przybylsia (Charlotteville) but in the final laps the two came together and it was Przybylsia who won the sprint for 5th.
