New Giro TT Helmet

The Tour is always a great time to try and spot the latest products, as various major brands trial parts and bikes that they hope will give their sponsored riders an advantage over the competition.

We've just had word that Giro will be debuting a completely new TT helmet at the Tour de France Prologue in Monaco this Saturday. Sources have said that technically, although the helmet is still within it’s development stages and is work-in-progress, it offers such an aerodynamic advantage already that it would be foolish not to use in this year’s Prologue.

The helmet remains as yet unnamed (an indicator of its early development stage), and the ‘G-284-TT’ refers to its project code.
